I had a one-night stay at Smile Hotel Kumagaya and found it to be a mixed experience. While the breakfast was impressive and the location was perfect for exploring the area, I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the bathroom and the lingering smell of cigarette smoke in my non-smoking room.
